OUR APPROACH
Technical & Operational Delivery Plan
Liberian Iron Ore (LIO) has a sound understanding of the background to the projects and a clear, practical and straightforward plan for the re-development of the Western Cluster of Iron Ore Deposits. The development plan will start with the immediate preparation of a feasibility study and implementation plan for the deposit at Bomi Hills where it is expected that LIO will be able quickly to instigate the sale and export of direct ship ore by trucking it to the coast at a rate of some 1.5 million tonnes of ore per annum.

Environmental & Social Delivery Plan
The previous section sets out LIO’s thinking in regard to the sequencing of its activities. All of these are aimed at developing LIO to be world competitive, to maximise the use of the resource and the use of Liberian management and labour - and to benefit the company’s shareholders and stakeholders (especially the local community). This plan will be undertaken in stages so that the both the short term and long term needs of the investors and the community are addressed.

Commercial & Financial Delivery Plan
LIO has the capability and experience to understand and work with Liberian parties in government and the private sector – and to connect them with the lenders and investors in the main financial centres relevant to minerals development – especially London. Investment in mineral developments - a highly specialised area – requires trust and understanding which can only be built up over a long period.
